Data we collect

This is a static catalog and editorial website. We do not provide user accounts, checkout, or manuscript submission forms on this site.

• Contact emails: if you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
• Newsletter data: if a Listmonk subscription endpoint is configured and you subscribe, the public subscription API receives your email address and subscription list choice.
• Consent choices: the cookie banner stores your preferences in local storage under heliopolis_press_consent_v1.
• Store-link preferences: if you consent to Preferences, Amazon links may be localized by checking a country signal before the link is rewritten.
• Analytics data: if you consent to Analytics, Google Analytics may process page views, referrer data, device/browser information, and approximate location signals for aggregate site measurement.
• Marketing data: if you consent to Marketing, Meta Pixel may process page-view events for advertising measurement and retargeting.

Cookies and optional services

Necessary storage is used to remember privacy choices and keep the static site usable. Optional Preferences, Analytics, and Marketing categories are disabled unless you accept them or save them in Cookie settings.

Google Analytics is loaded only after Analytics consent. Meta Pixel is loaded only after Marketing consent. The Google Search Console verification meta tag is used only to prove site ownership to Google and does not set cookies or collect visitor behavior by itself.

The Meta Pixel no-script image fallback is intentionally not used because it would fire without being able to read your cookie-consent choice.

Book pages may link to Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Waterstones, Blackwell's, Thalia, bol.com, Angus & Robertson, Goodreads, or other retailers and reading services. Those third-party sites operate under their own privacy policies.

Depending on your consent choices and site configuration, this site may use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel, Listmonk, and external book retailers or reading services. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Legal bases

Retention

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the relevant inquiry. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Consent choices remain in your browser until you change settings, clear storage, or the consent version changes.
